Life as we knew it has changed dramatically due to COVID-19. We all want to return to normal and put COVID-19 behind us, however, it may be some time before that happens. What can we do in the meantime to manage this challenging time?
I encourage everyone to connect with others and share your time as much as possible to reduce feelings of isolation. It’s also vital to take care of yourself and practise mindfulness, which is a practice that helps us stay in the present moment instead of focusing on the past or worrying about the future. COVID-19 has provided some of us the opportunity to participate in baking or creative cooking which indeed is a mindfulness exercise.
